NEW RULES

Starting January 1, 2004 there are going to be some new rules for the team. These rules will apply to EACH and EVERY member regardless of rank or position. They will be posted on the web page for all to read and will be included in an email. The web site is a great place to get valuable information of events, happenings, tech support, downloads, etc. The forum has a members section that requires you to be registered in order to use that section. Registration is FREE and only takes a second to complete. Ventrilo is another great place to get updates and chat with friends and is also free of charge. It's only respectful to say hello to other members when logging on to Ventrilo. The server has setup specific channels for the games we play along with some chat channels. Smiler has taken the time to put up a chat page in the event Ventrilo goes down. Members that have cell phones could contact other members. Most long distance on a cell phone is free. Use these resources to your advantage as we spend lots of time to make this happen for you, the members. There's no excuse to say I didn't know about this or that. It takes just a little bit of participation from EACH and EVERY member to make this all work. Whether it's tech support, donations, suggestions, help with the web site, helping with e-mails, game practices or matches, testing of maps, Ventrilo, phone calls, etc. This team has so much talent in every area that there's no reason why this can't work and run so smooth, but, it takes just a tiny bit of participation from everyone. Participation makes this a fun place to come to and play. I have seen TEX grow and it will continue to grow every day. Those that want to participate will make this the team to be on. This will be the place to come to for relaxation. In the coming year, we plan on setting up some tournaments for all the games we play. There will be prizes given out to the first and second place winners of each tournament. Prizes will include hardware, software, new games, t-shirts, gift certificates, etc. The members that set the tournaments and matches up will receive a t-shirt for their participation. We also plan on having matches with those that challenge us as a team with GOW being our closest competition. Before any tournaments or matches take place, they must be presented before the review board for approval.

  TOTALLY EXTREME-Definition:
To be exceptional at everything we do.
To be remarkable in numbers and support.
  To have outstanding potential.
To have the highest degree of respect.
To help and support the outermost as needed.
  To be intense gamers.
A force to be reckoned with.
  FAMILY.

Rule #1: There will positively be no slamming of members. Any member that slams another member will                    be dismissed from the team immediately and without regret.

Rule #2: EACH and EVERY member will be required to check in on the forum page at least once a week                    without fail. Failure to do so will move you to the RESERVIST page and continued failure will be                    put before the review board for dismissal from the team.

Rule #3: EACH and EVERY member will be required to have an email address for correspondence. If you                    don't have an email address then I will provide a TEX Gaming address for everyone on the                    team with the name of your choice. No excuses accepted.

Rule #4: There will be no posting about cd keys, cracks, hacked software, etc in the public forum. Keep it                    in the members area as this could lead to legal issues against the team and the members and                    we don't need that.

Rule #5: Members that signup for tournaments and matches must play that tournament or match.                    Failure to do so will go before the review board for disciplinary actions.

Rule   #6:  The public forum will now be moderated to insure proper content and moderators will be appointed. The                      members only area wont be moderated and stays as it is.

Rule #7: There will be a meeting once a week for the board members to discuss upcoming events, problems,                   disciplinary actions, etc. No excuses unless otherwise authorized.

If any member has a question, suggestion, or gripe, feel free to send me an email or catch me on Ventrilo.
Those that don't want to participate are more than free to move on.
Don't blow smoke up my ass and I wont set you on fire.

  Thanks,
